Performing Arts

Performing arts classes encompass the three main components, Singing, Acting and Dance, which gives pupils  a broad perspective of theatre.

 

Singing

Group and individual work, learning new songs with back trackings and devloping skills involving harmonies.  

Acting

Improviastion, scirpt work, mime, character work, monologues/duologues, poems, tongue twisters, memory games, action and response games.

Dance

Dance within performing arts is known as Musical theatre, where by dance and singing is performed as a whole. Elements of dance will cover a wide range depending on the performance work or musical which is being taught.

Annie, Oliver, Matilda, Joseph, Bugsy Malone, Fame, Hairspray ,Wicked, Wizard of Oz, Lion King,  Little shop of Horrors, Oklahoma and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
